Hey ppl! this post is for those taking part in SYF.
as you guys can see from today's performance, our standard is still far from the required gold/silver standard!
here are some areas that we can, and must improve on:
-LOOK at the conductor while he is conducting! if you don't, how do you know what speed he wants us to play at? we were speeding up all the way for today's performance. this is bad. we must improve on this!
-look out for places where we must play piano or mezzo forte! and ritardando!

before every practice starts, we should also:
-set up everything fast
-file our fingernails
-tune our guitars
so as to not waste precious time!

and when playing the scores, take note of the various moods of the different parts of the score. knowing the mood will enable you to convey your feelings of that part into music.

hope you guys will do all these! everybody plays a part in SYF! any mistakes ade by anyone will result in us being deducted points! if everyone works together, im sure a silver or even a gold is possible for us to achieve!
